The Nebraska Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Foundation Trust is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer based endowed trust with the purpose of supporting the financial needs of Nebraska FBLA. As an endowed trust, donations are collected an invested for the benefit of Nebraska FBLA.
How Did We Get Here?
The Nebraska FBLA Foundation Trust was established in 2007 and incorporated as a not-for-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization with a Foundation Board of nine Directors/Trustees. It had been communicated that the Perkins funding for the salary of the NE State Advisor position would be going away in the next five years, concerned alumni came forward to establish the Nebraska FBLA Foundation as a way to ensure Nebraska FBLA would be financially supported moving forward. Today, the Nebraska FBLA Foundation Trust supports Nebraska FBLA middle and high school programming in the areas of Education, Student Leadership Opportunities, Nebraska FBLA Conferences, and Student Scholarships.
